Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year, supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Salem, NH. This contract position spans from August 2026 through June 2027, providing full-time hours between 32.5 and 37.5 per week. You’ll collaborate with another SLP, serving a diverse K-12 caseload with a core group of approximately ten students. Many on the caseload present with Autism and require the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, offering a chance to make a significant impact in their daily communication and learning success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active CCC-SLP certification.
  • Experience within school-based settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supporting students with Autism.
  • Comfort and skill in integrating and utilizing AAC devices to facilitate communication.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions, tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, maintaining compliance with educational standards and district guidelines.
  • Document progress, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in meetings as required.
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a comprehensive support system for students.
  • Adapt and modify communication strategies to suit a variety of learning and developmental needs.
