Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification required
- Open to both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFY welcome)
- SLPA candidates with school or healthcare experience also encouraged to apply
- Background in pediatric or educational settings is highly valued but not mandatory
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability with a commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy
- Comfortable with both in-person and teletherapy service provision
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to school-aged children, developing tailored treatment plans
- Document student progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP processes
- Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Provide support and supervision to SLPAs as appropriate
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes student growth and participation
