A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services to K-12 students within a dynamic school setting in Salem, OR. This contract role spans the academic year and focuses on supporting students with speech and language needs through assessment, individualized therapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific communication goals
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions to facilitate student progress
- Monitor and document outcomes meticulously to ensure goal achievement
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to provide holistic care
- Involve and support families throughout the therapy process to foster consistent progress
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Oregon
- Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for collaboration and independent work
- Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Oregon
