A K-12 school in Salem, OR seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the school year. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students across all grade levels, providing essential speech and language services in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide targeted therapy sessions to address speech and language goals
  • Monitor, document, and track student progress systematically
  • Collaborate with educators, specialists, and other team members to ensure coordinated care
  • Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Oregon
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Applicants must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Oregon and have completed or be working toward a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
