What We’re Looking For:
- Valid SLP license in Oregon
- Experience or strong interest in working in school settings with K-12 populations
- Ability to handle caseloads of 50-60 students if full time (pro-rated for part time)
- Excellent collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and goal development
- Commitment to providing direct therapy, consultation, and evaluation services onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, and contribute to comprehensive assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Communicate progress and recommendations clearly to parents, teachers, and support staff
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to school district guidelines
- Provide consultative support and strategies to facilitate student success in classrooms
