Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon’s Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties. Multiple full-time contract opportunities are available for the 2026–2027 school year (August 21, 2026 – June 9, 2027), focused on providing early intervention services to preschoolers ages 3–5. You will play a vital role in assessing and supporting speech and language development during a formative stage, partnering closely with families and educational teams.
Your Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for an Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience or a keen interest in early childhood or pediatric settings
- Comfortable using teletherapy platforms as needed
- Solid collaboration skills and a passion for early childhood special education
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations for preschool-aged children
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions
- Monitor student progress and document interventions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, working closely with families, educators, and related specialists
- Provide consultative support to early childhood educators and caregivers
- Adapt service delivery for in-person or remote (teletherapy) environments as required
