Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Salem, OR

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Hold a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Oregon state licensure (or eligibility)
• Prior experience in schools, pediatric settings, or healthcare environments preferred
• Comfortable delivering therapy across a range of service models, including in-person and teletherapy
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
• SLPA supervision experience is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct therapy to students in group and individual settings
• Maintain comprehensive, timely documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to foster effective learning environments
• Support and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed
• Engage in ongoing professional development and best practice sharing
