Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous SLP experience in school-based settings, especially in California, is desired
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are a valued asset
  • Comfort with diverse student populations and flexible with caseload assignment
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Perform evaluations and re-assessments to support student needs and program compliance
  • Document treatment plans and progress, maintaining accurate, timely records
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and IEP planning
  • Adapt services to meet the needs of an evolving caseload and multiple school sites as assigned
