This full-time role runs from August 2026 through June 2027 (specific dates TBD) and focuses on direct service and assessment within a vibrant school community. The district seeks onsite Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a difference, with a preference for candidates with prior California SLP experience and bilingual Spanish abilities. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active California SLP license required (CCC preferred)
  • Prior experience as a school-based SLP in California highly valued
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency strongly desired
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Adaptability to work with a dynamic caseload and multiple school sites

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams for IEP development
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with legal and school-based requirements
  • Serve as a resource and support for staff and family education relating to speech/language needs
