Daily hours run from 7:30 am to 2:45 pm, providing a stable schedule and opportunity to build lasting relationships with young learners, teachers, and families.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid California license for Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to practice (CCC or CFY candidates welcome)
- Direct experience or strong interest working in school-based settings
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-5 students
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation and caseload efficiently
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging speech and language therapy services to a diverse group of elementary students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with school teams and families
- Conduct assessments, interpret data, and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough records and comply with school documentation standards
- Consult with teachers and staff to support student success and inclusion
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing progress updates
