This full-time contract opportunity spans from ASAP through the end of the school year and is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists interested in making a meaningful difference with a manageable caseload of 35 students. Daily hours run from 7:30 am to 2:45 pm, providing a stable schedule and opportunity to build lasting relationships with young learners, teachers, and families.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid California license for Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to practice (CCC or CFY candidates welcome)
  • Direct experience or strong interest working in school-based settings
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-5 students
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation and caseload efficiently
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging speech and language therapy services to a diverse group of elementary students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with school teams and families
  • Conduct assessments, interpret data, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain thorough records and comply with school documentation standards
  • Consult with teachers and staff to support student success and inclusion
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing progress updates
