Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Salinas, California
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team. This full-time position will serve students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Position Details
- Full-time
- Hours: 7:30 AM–2:45 PM daily
- Population: Kindergarten–5th Grade
- Caseload: Approximately 35 students
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultation.
- Develop and implement IEP goals and monitor student progress.
- Provide individual and/or small-group speech and language services.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers.
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support students' academic, social, and communication development.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- California SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Pay: $55-$60/hour (negotiable based on experience)
