This contract position will have you working directly with a diverse group of students with mild to moderate disabilities, fostering their ability to communicate and thrive in an educational setting. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in school settings is preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Comfortable collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 40–50 students, providing direct speech-language services
  • Conduct assessments to identify students needing speech and language support
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Consult and coordinate with educational staff and families to promote student progress
  • Maintain detailed records of student performance and progress in accordance with school and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
