School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Salisbury, Maryland

Elevate your career in an engaging educational setting as a speech-language pathologist, supporting young learners from PreK3 through 3rd grade. This contract opportunity spans from late August 2026 through the end of June 2027, offering the chance to work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, alongside a collaborative team dedicated to student success.

In this rewarding role, you will provide speech and language services to a diverse caseload of 40-50 students with mild to moderate disabilities. Collaborative support is integral—another experienced SLP will work closely with you, fostering an environment for professional growth and shared expertise. Service delivery models include both small group and one-on-one settings, ensuring that each child receives individualized attention and support.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Current Maryland Department of Health Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Experience with early childhood and elementary-aged students.
• Familiarity with a variety of communication and learning challenges.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills.

Primary Duties:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver services to all eligible students, employing both small group and individualized approaches.
• Monitor progress and adapt interventions to meet evolving student needs.
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and your fellow SLP to maximize student growth.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements.
