Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state license (or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and other support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grades
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with school district guidelines
  • Provide consultation and training for teachers and families to extend support beyond sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development opportunities
