Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in the school environment with your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time contract position offers the chance to work within a collaborative district in the East or Southern areas, serving diverse needs throughout the upcoming academic year, from August 12, 2026, through June 11, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current NC SLP licensure required
- SLP-CCC preferred; SLP-CF applicants are welcome and will receive district supervision
- Experience supporting individuals with autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is highly valued
- School-based setting or pediatric experience is a plus
- Comfortable managing caseloads of up to 35 students
- Able to adapt and communicate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy in accordance with IEP goals
- Engage in assessment, therapy planning, and documentation for students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote positive outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
- Flexibility to tailor interventions based on caseload and student needs
