Speech Language Pathologist in Salisbury, NC

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a contract speech-language pathology role for the upcoming academic year. Working within a diverse district in the East or Southern area, you will collaborate with educators and families to help children reach their communication goals. This is a full-time role running from August 12, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 35 to 37.5 hours. Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP-CF new graduates are also encouraged, with district supervision available
• Previous experience with school-based caseloads, especially serving students with Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities, is highly valued
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approach to meet a range of student needs
• SLPA credentials are not accepted for this position

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to a dedicated caseload of up to 35 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
