Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP (ASHA CCC-SLP required)
  • Prior experience delivering speech therapy in a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to efficiently manage caseloads and documentation
  • Proficient with teletherapy tools (if remote services are needed)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement speech-language therapy for students with varying needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to align services with educational goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences
  • Provide direct therapy sessions as well as consultation to teams supporting students
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district standards
  • Facilitate student growth in speech, language, fluency, and voice skills to enhance classroom participation
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in school-based speech therapy
