With two open positions offering unique experiences, you’ll support students at varying stages of their educational journey, from elementary-aged learners to those with complex disabilities.
What you’ll bring:
- Active North Carolina State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Proven skills in providing direct therapy, conducting evaluations, and developing and monitoring IEP goals
- Experience working with elementary populations or low-incidence/specialized student groups preferred
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
- Provide targeted communication interventions, including use of AAC where appropriate
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports as required by district standards
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with educators, specialists, and caregivers
- Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions
