What you’ll bring:

  • Active North Carolina State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Proven skills in providing direct therapy, conducting evaluations, and developing and monitoring IEP goals
  • Experience working with elementary populations or low-incidence/specialized student groups preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
  • Provide targeted communication interventions, including use of AAC where appropriate
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports as required by district standards
  • Engage in ongoing collaboration with educators, specialists, and caregivers
  • Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions
