Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred, but all passionate candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Ability to design individualized treatment plans and adapt services to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create supportive educational environments
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services
- Track progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide training and resources to staff and families to facilitate student growth
