This full-time, contract opportunity is designed for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking to contribute expertise in a school environment from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027. While bilingual skills are highly valued, they are not mandatory—passion for student success is.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current and valid SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- Experience working with middle school students is an advantage
- Bilingual proficiency preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and set individualized goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Deliver both direct and consultative services, adapting to student needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary teams
