Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Hold or be eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), or be in your Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Active state licensure
  • Prior experience or strong interest in school-based practice
  • Bilingual fluency required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with technology for virtual/remote opportunities

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments in accordance with district/school guidelines
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide direct therapy and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to ensure holistic student support
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Remain current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
