This full-time, on-site contract position is designed to cover a maternity leave for the first 9-week period of the academic year, running from August 17 to October 9. You will play a key role in a collaborative special education team environment, providing both evaluation and intervention services to diverse pediatric populations.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with active CCC-SLP preferred (CFYs considered; robust supervision available)
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required
- Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Ability to provide effective supervision to a bilingual SLPA (for SLPs, not CFYs)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communicative disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate regularly with educators, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Supervise the work of a bilingual SLPA, providing mentorship and guidance (for licensed SLPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Contribute to a culturally responsive and inclusive learning environment
