Serving grades K–10, you’ll work three days per week with a close-knit caseload of about 30-35 students. Your unique expertise will make a significant difference—whether you’re supporting children with AAC devices, working with autistic students, or addressing articulation and fluency needs. Engaging with a variety of workplace practices and collaborating with educational professionals will expand your skillset, connect you with inspiring leaders, and boost your resume as you serve a remarkable student population.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas State SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Skilled in providing both evaluation and direct therapy services
- Comfortable working with children utilizing AAC devices or with autism
- Familiarity with articulation and fluency interventions
- On-site availability required (teletherapy not offered at this time)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations and direct therapy to K-10 students
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and specialists
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
