Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school settings
- Skilled in administering assessments, developing therapy plans, and providing engaging interventions
- Strong communicator, dedicated to partnering with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation and compliance guidelines
- Teletherapy experience a plus, but this position is strictly on site
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload (details forthcoming)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and document results in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Advocate for student needs through consultation and ongoing support
