Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs
- Provide therapy sessions focused on achieving clear communication goals
- Maintain thorough, timely records of student progress and respond proactively to changing needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators and specialists to coordinate care
- Involve and empower families in the therapy process to ensure maximum benefit for each student
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and within a collaborative team approach
- Must have or be able to obtain licensure by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
