School Speech Language Pathologist - San Bernardino, California

A passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) is needed for an onsite contract opportunity near San Bernardino, CA. You'll have the benefit of collaborating with an onsite SLPA and providing dedicated services at a single location. This contract covers maternity leave and may extend through April, offering consistency in your daily scope and student populations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active CA SLP license and valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to effectively supervise and work with an SLPA
• Comfortable working onsite; this role does not offer virtual/VOCO options

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, adapting approach to individual plans and needs
• Conduct assessments and evaluations, develop IEPs, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and generalization of skills
• Supervise and mentor the onsite SLPA to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on communication goals
