Speech Language Pathologist in San Diego, CA

Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students with speech and language needs in a vibrant school community near San Diego, CA. This full-time assignment runs from August 5, 2024, through June 12, 2025, serving a varied caseload of 46 students, including grades TK-5 and students requiring Speech IEP and Middle School SDC speech services. Days start at 7:30 a.m. and wrap up by 2:15 p.m., aligning nicely with the regular school schedule.

Ideal candidates will bring enthusiasm for school-based practice and expertise in serving diverse populations. The team welcomes experienced therapists with their CCCs, energetic Clinical Fellows, and may consider skilled SLPAs if needed.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Active California SLP license (or eligibility by start date)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Prior school-based experience preferred, especially with Speech IEP management and SDC populations
• Comfortable with all responsibilities: direct therapy, IEP meetings, evaluations, and documentation
• Bilingual candidates or those with expertise serving multilingual populations will stand out
• Flexible approach, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset

Key Responsibilities:
