Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC-SLP certification required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience in a school environment preferred, but open to enthusiastic clinicians able to adapt to an educational setting
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among a diverse student population
- Develop and execute evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain timely and effective documentation for all evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Engage with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student progress and advocate for student needs
- Provide support and education regarding speech-language development and therapy strategies to staff and caregivers
