Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for the state of California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills for diverse student populations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy services for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student progress and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth and inclusion
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and trainings as required
  • Offer ongoing guidance and education to parents and caregivers regarding at-home strategies for communication development
