Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current CCC-SLP certification required
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Prior experience in a school environment preferred, but open to enthusiastic clinicians able to adapt to an educational setting
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among a diverse student population
  • Develop and execute evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Maintain timely and effective documentation for all evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Engage with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student progress and advocate for student needs
  • Provide support and education regarding speech-language development and therapy strategies to staff and caregivers
