A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the San Diego area, specifically in Chula Vista, CA. This contract role supports one school site and is open immediately, continuing through the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension into the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based speech therapy
- Background in pediatric SLP services preferred
- Ability to provide teletherapy sessions as needed
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for candidates early in their career
- Familiarity with healthcare settings related to speech-language pathology is beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver speech therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
- Provide teletherapy sessions to accommodate student needs when necessary
