Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Appropriate state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in educational settings
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations
  • Background in providing healthcare-related SLP services is valued
  • Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver speech-language therapy to students
  • Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to foster student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and remain current with best practices
  • Engage students in creative and meaningful therapy activities
  • Adapt to the dynamic and diverse environment within school-based settings
