Key Qualities & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to employment)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
- Previous experience in school settings, pediatrics, or teletherapy preferred
- Strong clinical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive care and effective collaboration with multicultural communities
- Open to supporting or mentoring SLP-CFY candidates
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams
- Utilize teletherapy platforms, if applicable, to meet students’ needs virtually
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports
- Engage with families, caregivers, teachers, and support staff to foster student success
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
Compensation for this contract role ranges from $50–$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
