Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active California SLP license or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed, but CFYs considered
  • Strong background in pediatric speech and language services, with school-based or healthcare experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, student-centered approach

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with families and educational staff
  • Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to various student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and other support professionals
  • Provide consultation and support to parents and staff regarding student communication challenges
