What You’ll Need:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment

Your Day-to-Day Impact:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to track progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise during IEP meetings and consultations
  • Offer training and support to academic teams and families on speech-language development
