Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Solid background working in school settings, delivering assessment and intervention services to students
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor therapy plans and collaborate with classroom teachers and families
- Experience with diverse age groups and varying needs is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in compliance with IEPs and state guidelines
- Develop individualized treatment plans and instructional materials
- Conduct group and/or individual therapy sessions in-person within school settings
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and parents to promote optimal student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and support staff regarding communication strategies
