Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Solid background working in school settings, delivering assessment and intervention services to students
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tailor therapy plans and collaborate with classroom teachers and families
  • Experience with diverse age groups and varying needs is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in compliance with IEPs and state guidelines
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and instructional materials
  • Conduct group and/or individual therapy sessions in-person within school settings
  • Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
  • Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and parents to promote optimal student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer guidance and resources to teachers and support staff regarding communication strategies
