This contract position spans from August 13th to June 5th and offers a consistent 37.5-hour work week at a single school site, so you can cultivate meaningful connections with your caseload of 37-41 students.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for California
- Prior experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings is highly valuable
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Strong skills in evaluation, IEP meetings, and intervention planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services within the school framework
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for IEP development and progress monitoring
- Document student progress, maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Work closely with educators and caregivers to facilitate student success
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and communicative environment for all learners
