This contract opportunity runs from August 13th through June 5th, working 37.5 hours per week at a single school site near San Francisco, CA. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 student caseload, impacting the lives of approximately 37 to 41 students in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience working with K-12th grade students is highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt services to meet diverse student needs and learning profiles
- Familiarity with IEP processes and goal development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12th grade students at one convenient campus
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and document therapy sessions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture by supporting students’ communication development
