Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) required for SLPs
  • Open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) if supervision can be arranged
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist or SLPA
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Dedication to supporting diverse student populations

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering speech and language therapy services to students in compliance with IEPs
  • Conducting assessments and progress monitoring to determine student needs and growth
  • Collaborating with special education teachers, general educators, and other service providers
  • Providing documentation and reports as needed for compliance and student progress
  • Attending team meetings and communicating effectively with staff and families
  • Supervising SLPAs as appropriate and required
