A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in San Francisco, CA, for the upcoming school year. This contract role is ideal for an SLP with experience in school settings, including those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). The position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students to identify communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification/license appropriate for school settings
  • Experience working as an SLP in a school environment; CFY candidates welcome
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorder assessments and treatments
  • Ability to design and deliver effective therapy tailored to individual student needs
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff and families
  • Comfort working within a contract position framework

Location: This role is based in San Francisco, CA, and serves students within a school district setting.
