Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working with elementary students near San Francisco, CA, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. This position starts as soon as possible and continues through June 11, with potential extension for the full 2026-2027 school year. You’ll have the unique opportunity to support young learners with communication needs, collaborating closely with an SLPA to manage a caseload of 45 students.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current California Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered.
  • Experience providing pediatric therapy, especially within school settings.
  • Strong understanding of the IEP process, documentation, and progress monitoring.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to support speech, language, and communication goals.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes.
  • Oversee and guide an experienced SLPA for service delivery.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including IEPs and progress reports.
  • Provide consultation and support to staff and parents regarding communication strategies.
