This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who thrives working with children and collaborating with educators and families. With a schedule of 16 hours per week for the full school year, you’ll provide essential speech and language services, helping students overcome challenges and succeed academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in California
  • Experience working in school settings or with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide direct therapy services
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Document progress, prepare reports, and attend IEP meetings as required
  • Offer support, strategies, and resources to teachers and caregivers
  • Uphold confidentiality and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal requirements
