In this role, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, adapting strategies to meet each student’s unique needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions to further student success and foster your own growth.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting greatly valued.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff.
This opportunity features an attractive hourly rate ranging from $55 to $70, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
