Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive classroom environments
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and ongoing communication with stakeholders
- Offer consultative support to staff on language, speech, and social communication strategies
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and IEP team conferences as required
