Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY applications welcome)
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for preschool, private school, and nonpublic school students
- Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions to address language, articulation, fluency, and social communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs suited to each student’s goals and track progress regularly
- Deliver clear, supportive communication and education to families, caregivers, and educators
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute expertise as needed
- Maintain up-to-date records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
