Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current California SLP license and ASHA CCCs required
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational settings
- Strong assessment, documentation, and report writing skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative approach with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team process
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to reinforce communication skills
