A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in early childhood education for grades K-5. This role supports students’ communication development in a dynamic school environment located in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-5
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom setting
  • Document student progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with educational and medical standards
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student goals and progress

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for school-based service delivery
  • Experience working with children in grades K-5, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
