Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) completed or in progress
  • Experience serving school-aged children, specifically in elementary settings
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K–5 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for eligible students
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in regular IEP meetings
  • Serve as a resource for staff and parents by presenting strategies for effective communication support within the classroom environment
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education for the benefit of students
