Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress and services
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Utilize creative interventions and evidence-based practices
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and professional development opportunities
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet varying student needs
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for all learners
