Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress and services
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
  • Utilize creative interventions and evidence-based practices
  • Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and professional development opportunities
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet varying student needs
  • Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for all learners
