Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- California-issued SLP license or eligibility to obtain credentials prior to the start date
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in diverse and dynamic educational environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Provide direct therapy and intervention to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support educational progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development opportunities
