Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure (or ability to obtain) for professional practice as an SLP
  • Previous experience working in school environments preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to collaborative practice with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges during the ESY program
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and other specialists to optimize student outcomes
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Adapt strategies and materials for diverse student populations
  • Foster a supportive and positive classroom environment to encourage growth and participation
