Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience in school settings, especially within ESY programs, is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP procedures
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for working with students of varied ages and abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs during the ESY term
  • Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to deliver integrated support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based care planning
  • Adapt therapy materials and instructional techniques to meet individual student needs
