Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 environment
- Familiarity with IEP processes and ability to document progress effectively
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Collaborative spirit for working alongside educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students participating in ESY programming
- Assess, diagnose, and support students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student
- Maintain accurate records and document progress as required by school and state guidelines
- Engage with teachers and families to ensure comprehensive, team-based student support
- Contribute insights to IEP meetings and collaborate on intervention strategies
