Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Previous experience or strong interest in school-based SLP roles
  • Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for a variety of communication disorders
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • California licensure (or eligibility)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
  • Deliver therapy in both individual and group settings, adapting strategies to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Maintain accurate records, session notes, and data to support student growth and comply with educational requirements
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and support staff to provide insights and recommendations
  • Participate in IEP and team meetings to plan effective interventions and discuss outcomes
