- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Proven experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing both individual and group therapy
- Organizational skills and an ability to manage a caseload effectively
- Dedication to fostering inclusive learning environments and cultural sensitivity
Responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred by educators and parents
- Developing individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to student needs
- Delivering direct therapy services to students with a range of speech and language disorders
- Collaborating with teachers, school teams, and families to support student progress and integrate services into the classroom
- Contributing to IEP processes by communicating assessment results and progress, and participating in meetings
- Maintaining thorough documentation and adhering to all relevant legal and ethical guidelines
- Assisting in response-to-intervention efforts and providing resources for staff development when appropriate
