School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Jose, California

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Current California SLP licensure (or eligibility)
• Experience with school-based elementary caseloads is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to a small, elementary-aged caseload
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Document student progress and maintain detailed, timely records
• Provide support and consultation to teachers and families on communication goals
• Create a positive, engaging therapeutic environment for students
