In this role, you’ll provide expert speech and language services three days each week, working with a manageable and focused elementary school caseload. You will have the chance to foster strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, ensuring each child’s success and progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions for elementary students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans addressing a range of communication disorders
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Communicate regularly with families, educators, and other support staff to ensure integrated care
- Monitor and report student progress, making adjustments to interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and contributing to planning
