Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience working in an elementary school environment is preferred
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong collaborative spirit to work with teachers, parents, and other education professionals
  • Ability to provide high-quality, compassionate support to students with varying communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s communication goals
  • Conduct assessments, document findings, and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state standards
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and provide insightful recommendations for student support
  • Foster a welcoming, encouraging environment that nurtures growth and learning
