In this role, you’ll work closely with a collaborative team of educators and specialists to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in a diverse K-12 student population. You’ll be an integral part of each child’s academic journey, helping to foster both communicative competence and confidence.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, supporting a wide age range (K-12)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work collaboratively within an educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency concerns
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs
- Deliver evidence-based direct therapy and consultative services
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute actively to IEP meetings
- Provide support and resources to educators and families to promote speech and language development
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
