Step into a full-time contract position for the 2025-2026 school year supporting PreK-8th grade students with speech and language needs across 2-3 school sites near San Jose, CA. This impactful role offers you the chance to make a difference for a diverse student population while collaborating closely with other dedicated education professionals. You’ll manage a caseload of up to 55 students, delivering high-quality assessments, therapy, and intervention services to help every child reach their full potential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting supporting PreK through middle school students is ideal
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel between assigned sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to individuals and small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt interventions and materials to meet the diverse needs of a PreK-8th grade caseload
